Guidance for use

The Elisa Polystar logo is our most important visual asset. It is not just the primary means of identifying the company, it is also an endorsement of our qualities as a business.

The logo can be deployed in two basic formats, against light and dark backgrounds and colored and monochrome backgrounds. It is essential that the logo is used in a controlled and consistent manner.

Variations

The blue logo and the white logo are the primary versions. The blue logo is used on white or light backgrounds. The white logo is used on Brand Blue and darker backgrounds.

Brand colors

Clear space

Space around our logo helps to ensure it stands out in every layout.
The minimum clear space around the logo is equal to X where 3X is three times the height of the logo.

There must be a minimum space of one X all around the logo.

The recommended clear space for print is equal to 2X.

Minimum size:
To ensure legibility and clarity in use, the following approximate minimum sizes have been
set for the Elisa Polystar logo:
14mm x 8mm for print

52px x 30px for web and screen

Do

Use the primary colours: Brand Blue and white.
Use the black logo if the colours are restricted to black and white.

Don't

Don’t change the colour of the logo to any secondary or custom colour.
Don't use the Brand Blue logo on Elisa Polystar blue colours that are close to Brand Blue (Dark Blue and Middle Blue) or other colours with low contrast.
Don’t use the white logo on Light Blue or Pale Blue or other light backgrounds.

Don't use drop shadow or similar dark effects with the blue logo because it creates unwanted clutter around the logo.

Don't use the logo in an outline stroke.

Don't bend, twist or change the proportions of the logo.

Backgrounds

Don't use the blue logo on dark images. Aim for high contrast and good legibility.
